Service providers
To run Craft & System we rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers. Their roles vary: some process information on our behalf, while others also process it for their own legal and service purposes. The desktop app does not send your manuscripts to these providers.
Payments, email, and downloads
- Stripe — payment processing. Runs the secure checkout and processes payments and billing records. Processes your billing details, order information, and email address. Maintains its own privacy and security safeguards. Stripe's compliance does not replace the merchant's own responsibilities.
- Resend handles license emails, sign-in and recovery messages, newsletter confirmations, and opted-in newsletters. Processes email addresses, message content, contact and consent preferences, delivery information, and unsubscribe status.
- Cloudflare provides DNS and download storage and delivery. Download requests can include an IP address, user agent, requested file, and connection information. Our website and licensing backend run on a separately managed server, not Cloudflare Pages.
- Google provides inbound email routing for our domain. Support email can contain your address, message content, and attachments you choose to send.
- OVHcloud (OVH US LLC) provides the server infrastructure used for the website and licensing backend. The services on this server process account, license, device, security, newsletter confirmation, and affiliate records, along with technical connection information.
Our server stores account, licensing, security, newsletter confirmation, and affiliate records. Infrastructure providers process the technical information needed to host and protect those services. Contact us for further information about hosting or provider data handling.
