Refund Policy
Craft & System · Last updated June 2026
We want you to love The Author's Blueprint. If it isn't right for you, we'd rather give your money back than have you stuck with software you don't use. This page explains exactly how that works.
14-day money-back guarantee
The Author's Blueprint is digital software that's delivered instantly, so there's no “return” in the physical sense. Instead, we offer a simple promise: if you ask within 14 days of your purchase, we'll refund you, no hard feelings and no hoops to jump through. You don't need to justify it — “it's not for me” is a perfectly good reason.
How to request a refund
Email melvin@craftandsystem.com from the address you used to buy, and include your order number or the email on the receipt. That's all we need to find your purchase and get it sorted. We aim to reply quickly and process approved refunds promptly.
How refunds are processed
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for The Author's Blueprint. That means they are the seller of record on your receipt — they handle checkout, collect and remit any VAT or sales tax, and process refunds back to your original payment method. When we approve a refund, it's issued through Lemon Squeezy, and the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. You can email us with any refund or billing question and we'll help; some inquiries may also be directed to Lemon Squeezy as the seller.
What may disqualify a refund
The guarantee is built on good faith, so a few things fall outside it:
- Requests made after the 14-day window, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Abuse of the policy — for example, repeatedly buying and refunding, or refunding while continuing to use the Software.
- Fraudulent purchases or chargeback fraud.
- Filing a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first (see below).
Please email before a chargeback
If something went wrong, email us first — in almost every case we can fix it faster than a bank dispute can. Opening a chargeback without asking for a refund first can result in your license key being revoked. We're glad to honor any valid request under this policy, so there's no need to go that route.
EU and UK customers
If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. For digital content delivered immediately, that right can end once download begins, because by choosing to download right away you may be asked to consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the statutory withdrawal right. To keep things simple and fair, we don't rely on that: our 14-day money-back policy above applies to you regardless. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
Questions
If anything about this policy is unclear, just email us. We're a small studio and a real person will read it.
